I'm Valerie, the heart and hands behind Quirky Kitten Weddings.
My journey into wedding styling began after my own wedding, when I struggled to find modern, stylish décor that truly reflected my vision. I realised there was a gap in the market for contemporary, design-led hire décor, and thats where Quirky Kitten was born.
With a lifelong love for creativity, I took a leap, left my previous career, and dedicated myself to learning the art of floral design and event styling. Now four years later, I specialise in creating breathtaking, realistic faux floral arrangements and statement décor that transforms wedding spaces into something unforgettable.
Why Faux Florals?
I chose to work with faux flowers not just for their beauty, but for their practicality and sustainability. Every bouquet, centrepiece, and floral installation is handcrafted from scratch based on each couples vision, ensuring a unique and personal touch. The beauty of faux florals? They stay perfect from the first look to the last dance, and because they're available to hire, couples don't have to worry about waste, wilted blooms, or clearing up decor the next day- I handle it all.

What I Love About Weddings
There's something truly magical about weddings -the energy, the anticipation, the once-in-a-lifetime feeling of it all. I love seeing everything come together on the day, standing back in a fully styled room, knowing I've helped create a space where unforgettable memories will be made. My approach is always friendly, collaborative, and detail-focused, ensuring each couple gets a design that feels authentic to them while being effortlessly stylish.
A Little More About Me
When I'm not designing dreamy wedding spaces, you'll probably find me travelling to new places or spending time with my husband and two cats. I don't believe in playing it too safe with wedding design -trends are moments in time, and couples should embrace them if they love them! My personal favourites? Bold colours, modern asymmetrical floral arrangements, and a fresh, contemporary approach with less foliage.
